The Nocom Base Hunting project was started by MAC_TONIGHT_ when Nocom was originally leaked on Youtube by Nerds Inc.
History
On July 14th 2021, Nerds Inc released a youtube video and heat maps showcasing their tracking exploit Nocom. When this video was released, MAC_TONIGHT_ thought about checking out spots in the video under the assumption each pixel was a chunk in the nether. He started hunting late July, as soon as nocom went public and when he realized it was going to be a huge undertaking to vist all the spots on the map, he enlisted the help of other players.
On August 7th MAC_TONIGHT_ added Urban, bread_loafs, Walking_Library, Jakethasnake52, RainAura, and Gslick to the project.
By late august everybody was getting bored but by then they had completely combed through the -+ quadrant, and 100k-250k in the other quadrants had also been combed through. Due to bordom the project ended there and MAC_TONIGHT_ gave the info to SalC1 that would be used in his video.
