Sgt. Pepper, sometimes known by his in-game name minecart26, is a player and programmer known for his work on xdolf with x0XP.
History
Early History
Sgt. Pepper joined 2b2t in 2015, though he played infrequently until the Rusher Invasion of 2016. Following this, he became active in the community and began creating hacked clients following the 11/11 Dupe. After befriending x0XP, he began work on a client in early 2017.
xdolf
Despite being a programmer, Sgt. Pepper knew little about Minecraft hacked client development, leading x0XP to begin porting over code from his earlier client, Adolf. Since x0XP was well known in the community for putting a backdoor in the original Adolf, when this new client, xdolf, was released, the client's source code was released as well.
The client was initially successful, and after being given the code for EntitySpeed by 0x22, it found a small niche as a free client that featured exploits and bypasses specifically tailored to 2b2t. Following drama over "code stealing" by other players, the client was taken closed-source, which renewed suspicion about the legitimacy of the client.
Since xdolf was written using semi-official tools that redistributed the Minecraft codebase, Mojang DMCA'd the client in late 2017, after which it fell out of popular use and was discontinued. Following this, the client's source code was publicly released.
Aftermath
Following this and the removal of Veteran Queue on 2b2t, Sgt. Pepper became inactive. He occasionally plays on Constantiam.
