Luminaria is a building group founded in late 2021.
History
In late 2021 a regular 2b player named Hexw decided to start a group whose goal was to facilitate a better experience for newer players on the server. One of these players' names was flixzit. You see, Hex was in a group prior called Meteorum in late 2020, which had many members and was fairly successful. flixzit on the other hand was a new player who wanted to create groups simply to amass a lot of players. Luminaria started gathering players quickly, and was generally considered a good group for newer players to the server. But things started to change for the worse... One of the high ranking members; Larry the Absolute Unit, invited a player who ended up griefing their first base, Lux Island. That's when the group decided to create another base further from spawn which they called Treephobia. It's construction began smoothly, but many members began to dislike one of the leaders, fixzit. Some members left entirely at this point, feeling flixzit was a very toxic player. After multiple attempts at fixing things, Hex would leave the group discord, and create a brand new one without flixzit. Almost all the members decided to join Hex's new server, and things became peaceful at last. They then left Treephobia, expecting it to be griefed in the near future. A new base was founded which they dubbed; Paradox, and everyone was happy to play once again. But sadly one of their members leaked the base to an un-trustworthy new player, who would wind up griefing it overnight. Luckily this time, there were already plans in place to create a new, much more secure base far out from spawn. They immediately put those plans into action and created their fourth base, called Nox Town,. Nox Town became their biggest base yet. They accomplished many great things at nox town Including A big building contest (Won by afelot), And a massive group resurgence. Sadly not all good things can last and a coord exploit came to 2b. The groups leaders knew that they had to tell everybody to not log in but they were too late, The base was griefed by an unknow group of players. After that the group Went a bit inactive. To stop the group from dying RLbob Started a spawn base really close to spawn what would give the groups members a home until the exploit was patched. A few days later the group got conformation that the exploit was patched and were safe to start a new base. So one of the groups leaders senakot went to the end in a ender portal, But sadly A few days after senakot went in the end to start the luminaria MEGA base The portal was griefed and we had no way to access the end. So the dragons aka the leaders of the group decided to make a shop called nox shop and it has already made a lot of money so far. Now the group plans to start another base, A nether base to be exact.
