2AO

2AO was a base started by Bluebirdx. The base was founded in the June of 2018 and was griefed in July 2024. The name 2AO accordingly stands for 2b2t Adults Only.

History

Early Life (Summer 2018 - Winter 2018)

2AO's life began in the Summer of 2018. Bluebirdx sought out new basemates after becoming bored in the Emperium. Bluebirdx was joined by Ipixisu, Darkorac, and Matthew soon after. The base was founded only 2,600 blocks off the Positive +X highway. Matthew had figured out how to chunk dupe during 2018 which gave the group unlimited access to duplicated items. The group began duping nearby the future location of 2AO.

Unprecedented Growth (2019)

2AO's initially tight-knit list of members experienced unprecedented growth soon after its founding. Starcola and mistercro_ were soon invited by Bluebirdx. A few days later the players Spiritbg and charmareian found the stash at 2AO and were invited to join the base. Over the next few months the players Megyn, Joey_Coconut, RPB, Majora would all join the base.

Modern Base Life (2020-2023)

The base had begun to grow slowly at this point with sporadic periods of inactivity. A few months in 2020, 2AO was tracked by Nocom. During this time many more members would join the initial group. The base would slowly grow and there was an attempt to backdoor the server sometime after 2020.

Grief (2024)

2AO was griefed in Summer of 2024. Following the grief a post was made on the 2b2t subreddit detailing the history of the base.
