DirectorJohnson is a postjune midfag who, despite having never committed to playing very often since joining, participated in several groups and events. He has played under many different names, such as TheHylian13 and MikelAx7 or Mikel.

History

In May of 2017, DirectorJohnson learned of 2b2t when he was hanging with a real life friend who, despite not having played Minecraft himself, nonetheless was getting FitMC videos recommended to him. Knowing that DirectorJohnson would find them interesting too, he showed him the videos at his house. Together they logged in on his account and waited in queue for eight hours before joining with the goal to find the Valley of Wheat. They walked for another hour before coming across a giant lavacast where the valley once was. They were very disappointed, but DirectorJohnson kept playing by himself for a few weeks before the school year resumed. On a whim, he told his new classmate Dragonworm about the server over Skype.

He came back a week after, when DirectorJohnson had already forgotten about it, telling him that he joined Highland and that he should apply. At this time he was using the username TheHylian13. He was let in the day after, and both friends walked to Time Valley Base without speed hacks. They based there for a solid month before getting bored. DirectorJohnson posted the coords to a Highland spawn base to Reddit, was quickly discovered by his post history, and booted from the group. He packed up all of the items he could find from the base, which included only about a dozen kits and a few boxes of elytra, gapples, and alpha leaves, and made a small stash about 10k blocks from Time Valley before he died and was sent back to spawn without having the coordinates recorded. He grew demoralized due to this and other factors, and seeing no reason to keep playing, stopped logging in for months.

In early 2018, DirectorJohnson, who started going by MikelAx7, and Dragonworm did several small and failed projects together including starting a faction named Azerian Federation and creating a lag machine called Laggy Mack. An impressive medieval spawnbase was appropriated for use by the former group and given the name Castle Rock, after a location from the novel Lord of the Flies. It became his primary base before it was griefed by DerJesus, an Azerian Federation member who was enraged after learning that SmackAttack86 was allowed to host his podcast there. After more drama ensued, Azerian Federation was quietly disbanded and a newly poor DirectorJohnson was back at spawn. He attempted to join Vortex Coalition, but ragequit after being killed by a Voco member while en route to their base and went cold again.

He would pop in rarely from 2018 to 2019 but not for anything eventful. There was a moment where he was a member of DonFuer in 2019 but was kicked due to personal drama between himself and dragonworm. Before this, he was in a group called Inquisition where he met PopeViper LeeMastah, and LordGalvatron. These players had formerly been in a group called Astral Order, which Joey appropriated into Astral Brotherhood when making the group with Galvatron.

In 2020 after reconnecting with Dragonworm, he found himself being an Elder in DonFuer... on a clone server. D_loaded had disbanded the group in 2018 and former members attempted to revive it themselves on the ill-fated DestroyMC. After Fit released his video on DonFuer 19, however, the renegade DonFuerians made themselves known to D who was happy to return and revive DonFuer on 2b2t. For his part, DirectorJohnson was in a few of the initial small get togethers and bases as the faction was regrouping. He was also invited to Chongfuer and other contemporary DonFuer bases, but spent most of his time either on DestroyMC or with Shortbus Caliphate, which he was invited to through his connection to rpb7191. In Shortbus he went to a few fun bases but his time there culminated in the 9/11 "Gender Reveal Biome" base. While this was happening, he was also being a useful idiot for the Nocom people in the 0Neb Appreciation Group. He derived his current IGN from the character that was created to troll 0Neb with, who was a shadowy CIA agent tasked with creating a mind control device on 2b2t. His discord identity remained as MikelAx7, and later mikel which remains to this day. His activity on 2b2t dipped again after that as he had to focus his attention both on the other clone servers DonFuer was present on and personal issues.

In 2021 he joined the Fifth Column, first as a guest and later a full member. He never participated in any of their actions on 2b2t, but was very active in using Copenheimer to go after private servers. Some of the same videos that Mojang used to ban Maksitaxi and others included his IGN as well. He resisted intense pressure to leak information about DonFuer, to which he was still loyal and with whom he was active with in Deathstar's basement.

There were brief flashes of activity in the years following but little came of it until May of 2026 when he started being active in game and going to DonFuer bases again. Lukent still does not believe this will last.
