The Avalonian Republic is a group of builders who primarily build.

History

Founding

Noah3j first joined the server in late October of 2019, at the height of the rivalry between TeamNoTrees and Team Trees. At this time, he met TimeRapier and decided to join Team Trees, rising to the upper ranks of leadership and befriending leader Rex1258. The three of them set out in December of that year to create Andromeda. The base was too close to the highway, and after meeting The White Lotus Society and The Monastery, the three groups would merge to form Avalonia.^[1]

Avalonia

Avalysium

Space Avalonia

After spending a long time basing with Elysium, internal conflicts caused the two groups to drift apart. Following the griefing of Avalysium by BSB, they ultimately decided to go their separate ways. The Avalonians had always aspired to build something in the End, and this became their opportunity to establish Space Avalonia.

Post-Avalysium and the split between the two groups, bikmunni, a member of the group, flew 5 million into the end to establish a new base. Once a spot was chosen, he moved several stacked illegals shulker to the base and began unstacking them. Around this time, the end boat tp exploit was active, and bikmunni used this to teleport members out to the new base location. A few months later when bikmunni took a break from playing the server, members were able to come to the base using the name change pearl mechanic to avoid travelling. IronException brought out a spare account for the group to use as a building proxy in addition to being the name change account for the group.

BGP hosted a creative server for the group and they began designing the base, referencing a map the group made together to assign areas and districts of the base. In creative, the members created a stash reminiscent of the Avalysium storage hall. Elijah204 designed and built the storage hall along with a shopping cart system to transport items through a rail system to the player, along with a player rail transport system that was intertwined with the cyber punk district he was building beneath the storage. In addition to the storage hall design, Elijah204 created an elaborate ender pearl station a few hundred blocks from the base. Using trapdoors and ice, speedy pearl lanes were created for faster movement, and under each water tower there would be a redstone machine that would stop players from ending up in the void, along with a pearl system for travelling back to the top of the lane without elytra or rockets needed. Noah3j, Nekzoh, atersu, __Arbiter, CDara and Elijah designed and constructed a city lined with cherry trees, street cars, and large skyscraper style buildings. Although the design was relatively complete in creative, only a small percentage of the city was completed on the server.

Grief

In early 2024 a player named ElmoV2 joined the group. Noah3j had seen a reddit post where he was building in the end and reached out to see if he would like to join Avalonia; following a vote, he became a member. A few months later, Elmo name change pearled to Avalonia, and the next day half the stash at the base was missing. After an investigation was conducted, Elmo left the group, the remaining items were moved away from the base, and the group carried on. A few months later in a discord call hosted by hardboiledmegs, Harrissson confessed to being the thief (along with chiekn) of the missing items, having gotten coords from bikmunni back when the spot was chosen. Subsequently, Elmo was invited back to the group. In Feburary 2024, hardboiledmegs received a tip off that Elmo had leaked the coords after leaving and now basehunter and shop owner qsp was on his way to steal items. A decision was made that the base was now compromised and after the remaining items were moved, Avalonia self-griefed.

Current

Following the grief of Space Avalonia, the members moved to the overworld, creating a “new blocks” outpost for farming new materials in the 1.19 update. Soon after, a new base location was chosen.

In late 2024, Noah3j made the decision to step down as leader, passing the group over to Hardboiledmegs.
