The 2024 Donkey Dupe Incident was a week long series of ratting/scamming surrounding a patched dupe.
History
Day 1: July 10, 2024, a video was leaked on youtube showing players performing a dupe on the 2b2t. The video was public for less than 15 minutes before being unlisted, however it began to make rounds in the community. The unlisted video amassed hundreds of views in the first 24 hours and soon a reddit post was made on both the r/2b2t and r/2b2t_Uncensored subreddits showing messages sent from Jakethasnake52 advertising the dupe for sale. Along with these leaked messages was a set of direct messages between Jakethasnake52 and Parzi. These direct messages contained very crude instructions to the dupe. At the same time as the leaking of the video and the direct messages, there was an announcement in the Backstreet Boys discord server featuring a leaked notepad file with the name "Operation Economic Collapse 2b2t" also featuring similarly crude instructions.
Day 2: 11th, 2024, Jakethasnake52 scammed 5 players by selling 5 copies of the dupe's instructions to players for up to $150 each. When he received the money he shared the semi-public leaked youtube video without any further instructions. When players asked for refunds he blocked them.
Day 3: July 12th, 2024, Parzi, the leader of a growing group, Team America, began advertising in the Team America discord server that he had the dupe and would be leaking it to his members. This resulted in an insanely large period of growth for the group. The group voice chat had over 50 people when Parzi screenshared the leaked youtube video. Following the complaints of the members he promised he would provide the method the following day. Parzi would then message the uploader of the video, chaseLOL, and began trying to bargain with him. The conclusion reached was that Parzi would share chaseLOL's code with his group in the form of a ratted jar, in exchange Parzi himself would receive the unratted jar. This was confirmed when chaseLOL showed Parzi a video demonstration of the RAT and Parzi responding positively.
Day 4: July 13th, 2024, Parzi promoted chaseLOL to the second highest role in his group and gave him permission to advertise his client in the announcements channel to the groups members. Later that night chaseLOL would reach out to the player ANALP0RN with screenshots and recordings of chats with Parzi. ANALP0RN would go on to make a widely viewed video showcasing Parzi's actions and attempts to RAT his own group members.
Day 5: July 14th, 2024, Following the wide outrage after ANALP0RN's video, Parzi removed chaseLOL's permissions, shutdown all the channels for the group excluding #General and #Announcements, and deleted all mentions of the dupe, chaseLOL, or his client. He would go on to post a message pinging the entire server saying he was "working on a response" and "I'm innocent". Multiple other small 2b2t youtubers post videos on the incident and ANALP0RN would reach out to many group leaders asking them to share the video and warn their members to avoido Parzi.
Day 6: July 15th, 2024, Parzi posts a video showing that he had recorded his DM's with chaseLOL and was "planning to expose him" however this was widely ignored as a flimsy excuse. Parzi is rebuked and gets into a verbal discourse with ANALP0RN in which he is asked why he ever allowed chaseLOL any permission to post and advertise what he knew was malicious code. Following this Parzi played the fool and blamed his own ignorance.
Day 7: July 16th, 2024, the incident concludes with the closing of Team America, widespread shunning of both Parzi and Jakethasnake52, and the deletion of all videos from chaseLOL's youtube channel.
Following the conclusion of the incident, Parzi would deleted his video clarifying his innocence along with deleting his discord account.
