Wailn is a 2b2t builder and long-term member of the SpawnMasons. He has been consistently active since 2018 and has built at a wide range of SpawnMason and community bases across several years.
History
Early days
Wailn's earliest recorded connection is July 2018, and his chat logs from late 2018 show him already a comfortable presence in global chat, discussing server mechanics and joking with other players. His activity peaked heavily in 2018 and 2019, with thousands of recorded connections in each year, before settling into a more periodic pattern.
A November 2019 chat log shows him advertising a Halloween party at -3k, 4k in global chat and offering free gear, consistent with the SpawnMason practice of hosting community events. He has remained intermittently active through 2026.
SpawnMasons
Wailn was a member of the SpawnMasons and built at several of the group's bases across multiple years. He was an inhabitant of Smibville, the SpawnMason group base founded in May 2019 in an ice spikes biome and griefed in January 2020. He was also a member of Cloud Club, the community skybase near spawn that ran for about a week in August 2019, and of COVID-2147, the SpawnMason group base that ran from March to May 2020.
He was also listed among the inhabitants of the Spawn Train, Negative_Entropy's puzzle-access spawnbase founded in June 2020.
Other bases
Wailn was one of the co-founders of The Autumn Drain alongside 0Channy and Lunch_Katsu, the large reconstruction project of the original Drain that ran from October to December 2020. He was one of the many builders who joined after digandbuilder found the base in November, with the base eventually growing into the largest reconstruction of a griefed base in 2b2t history before being self-griefed on December 18, 2020.
He was a member of Chunk Haven, the SpawnMason spawnbase built around glitchy chunk terrain that ran from October 2020 to June 2021, and one of the 104 members of the Rat House, the largest spawn base in 2b2t history by player count.
Through Joey_Coconut, Wailn was invited to Whitehaven, the medieval-style base led by Krobar01 that ran from August 2020 until its grief in June 2021. He also built at Five Isles — Krobar01 assigned one of the base's five islands to Terbin and Wailn jointly, which was later transferred to smcz19 when Wailn stepped back from the base. Five Isles ran from September 2021 to December 2022.
Wailn was also an inhabitant of Halicarnassus, the million base inhabited by Crimson and Shortbus Caliphate members that ran from December 2020 to October 2021, and of Fort Joe, the spawnbase inside househousehouse1's 8k8k lava cast that ran from February to March 2021. He is also listed among the inhabitants of Imperator's Base 2, the base secretly relocated by iTristan in late 2015 and griefed in May 2021.
