The_GenderBender is a 2b2t builder who joined in 2017. He is known for his membership in Team Coca-Cola, participation in the Sixth Incursion, membership in Builders Haven and its successor base Valerian, and for his role in insiding the Soviets' base on behalf of the Emperium.
History
Early days and Team Coca-Cola
The_GenderBender joined 2b2t in 2017. He became a member of Team Coca-Cola, the building and PvP group founded by Crystallising and Flyinqq in January 2017. He was also a participant in the Sixth Incursion in April and May 2018, contributing to the construction of the Great Obsidian Wall around spawn.
Soviets insider
During the Soviets' occupation of The Citadel, The_GenderBender, alongside JakeFromStateFarm, approached Emperium inner council member Slimestoner and traded information about the base in exchange for an implied invitation to join the Emperium. Slimestoner subsequently traveled to the base and griefed it, though a member of the Soviets was ultimately revealed as the one who leaked the coordinates. This incident caused the Soviets to relocate further than ever before to construct The Red Palace.
Builders Haven
The_GenderBender joined Builders Haven and participated in the group's series of temporary bases, including Purgatory, Purgatory 2, Purgatory 4, and Exposition, before the group's disbandment in August 2018. Following the final grief, he was among the members who joined HawkedOnFonix and others at Valerian.
Valerian
The_GenderBender was a member of Valerian, the large group base that ran from March 2018 until its grief by Nocom on July 22, 2019. Within the base's internal Valerian Congress structure he held the title of Ministry of the Arts. He built his own house at the base, referred to in the base's build list as "Bender's House," located in The Glades district alongside Willy's Manor and the Glade of Echoes.
His final recorded chat is a single "t" in December 2020, and connection logs show a sharp drop from heavy 2018 activity to near-absence by 2019 and 2020, suggesting he went largely inactive following Valerian's grief.
