Mc_Ren is a 2b2t PvPer and griefer who joined in 2018. He is the founder of Team Sexy, a core member of the Anti Bedrock Society who participated in the destruction of the Bedrock Comet at Ziggy Town, and is known for filling the X+ Nether highway with obsidian using an automated program. He served as the fifth President of the Armorstate meme state and is closely associated with Armorsmith's Followers.
History
Early days and Team Sexy
Mc_Ren joined 2b2t in 2018 and founded Team Sexy, a small PvP group active from late 2018 into 2019. The group was frequently in conflict with Cydonia, Infrared, and Highland, as well as various other spawn-centred groups. His associate one__ duped for him during this period. Team Sexy went inactive until November 2019 before regaining attention for its highway griefing activities.
Highway griefing
In spring 2020, Mc_Ren used an automated program to fill the X+ Nether highway with obsidian, clogging it for tens of thousands of blocks. He repeatedly argued in global chat that blocking the highway reduced queue times by discouraging players from joining. This brought Team Sexy into direct conflict with highway repair groups including the Independent Interstate Society (IIS), which the Team Sexy article describes as enemies. FitMC covered the conflict in a Highway War video, which Mc_Ren frequently cited in chat as evidence of his impact on the server.
Anti Bedrock Society and the Battle of Ziggy Town
Mc_Ren was a central member of the Anti Bedrock Society, the movement founded by Armorsmith to destroy the Bedrock Comet at Ziggy Town. He participated in the development of the bedrock-breaking methods used by the group and was present during the Battle of Ziggy Town, a seven-hour fight between the Anti Bedrock Society alongside Team WAO and the opposing Klansmen and Infinity Incursion. Team WAO emerged victorious, allowing the Anti Bedrock Society to break the comet's final block of bedrock.
Mc_Ren also claimed in chat to be the first 2b2t player recorded on video placing bedrock, stating he had built an illegal items stash using placed bedrock in 2018. He linked a YouTube video as documentation of this claim.
Armorstate
Mc_Ren served as the fifth President of Armorstate, the meme state created by Armorsmith's Followers in July 2018. The role was ceremonial — Armorsmith retained de facto control — but Mc_Ren held the title in the group's official succession list.
Later activity
Following the Anti Bedrock Society's activities in 2021, Mc_Ren quit 2b2t in the summer of 2021, which the Team Sexy article identifies as the cause of the group's disbandment. He made brief returns in late 2021 and November 2022, with death logs from his final recorded session showing him active at spawn with a named sword "Mc_Ren's Bald Head LIVES ON!!!" His alt account DaddyRen appears in his own !firstwords command checks in September 2018.
