LordGalvatronMC is a 2b2t player best known as a builder and group leader. He co-founded both the Astral Order in 2017 with jay_monroe and its successor group, the Astral Brotherhood, with Joey_Coconut in 2021, and served as an administrator of the 2b2t Media Archive.
History
Church of Eden and early history
LordGalvatronMC joined 2b2t in 2017 and became a member of the Church of Eden, a building group led by PopeViper. Unhappy with the Church's leadership, he backed jay_monroe's push for internal reform. When PopeViper returned from a hiatus, jay_monroe delivered a farewell address that effectively ended the group, and PopeViper deleted the Discord server shortly after. LordGalvatronMC set up the first Discord server for what would become the Astral Order that same night.
Astral Order
The Astral Order was founded on December 20, 2017 by LordGalvatronMC and jay_monroe, along with SuperViperMan, hoodtree, FronkTheHuman, Giganox, and FreefieldMaster. The group's first base was Malachor, carried over from the Church of Eden. In February 2018, FronkTheHuman leaked Malachor's coordinates after being demoted from the Council, and Retronautx, IHackedWalmart, and Armorsmith griefed it shortly after. LordGalvatronMC and jay_monroe tore down what remained themselves, stripping the blocks and leaving a crater.
After Malachor, the group moved through a series of bases, The Monastery, then Darkstone (a long-forgotten outpost LordGalvatronMC and iMems had originally set up), and eventually Nazarick, which at its peak housed around 22 members. Nazarick fell when LordKai1 accidentally posted an uncropped screenshot of his map art, giving away the terrain and allowing the coordinates to be exploited.
The latter half of the Order's history was marked by persistent friction between LordGalvatronMC, jay_monroe, and iMems over how the group should be run, with some arguments stretching for hours. After jay_monroe's departure in early 2019 following a series of erratic outbursts and a falling-out with LordGalvatronMC, the group never recovered. Despite an attempt to keep things going with a small outpost called Fort Astral, the Order went inactive around mid-March 2019.
Democratic Republic of 2b2t
Around September 2018, the Astral Order moved to inside the Democratic Republic of 2b2t, a group founded by Gambino. LordGalvatronMC and Joey_Coconut led the operation, getting Astral members elected into positions across the group's government. Joey_Coconut won the presidency, and LordGalvatronMC took a council seat. The scheme unraveled when digandbuilder posted a screenshot of the Astral Discord's announcement channel, which had been directing members on who to vote for. The Democratic Republic collapsed not long after.
Builders Haven and other affiliations
LordGalvatronMC was a member of Builders Haven, one of 2018's larger build projects. He later became a Caliph in the revived Shortbus Caliphate under Joey_Coconut, helped found JIDF in 2020 and co-founded Fort Aqua there alongside Joey_Coconut and Crawket, and held a rank in the Inquisition. He also served as an administrator of the 2b2t Media Archive for a period.
Samaritans and Angband
On January 1, 2020, LordGalvatronMC founded Angband as the home base of his group, the Samaritans. Built into a mesa spike biome and named after the fortress from J. R. R. Tolkien's The Silmarillion, the base was started alongside NickNove and Steveythekid before the Samaritans went inactive. LordGalvatronMC came back to it in April 2021, restructuring his group as the Blackguard and using Angband as its base discord. Joey_Coconut and Jelooboi were invited, and LordGalvatronMC continued building there on and off through 2022. The base met its end in February 2023 when Medieval leaked its coordinates to the Fifth Column during the Connect 4 Drama, and Bezopasan, Orsond, TakeoutMenu, and Zetrax griefed it on February 8th, apparently believing it was an Astral Brotherhood base.
Block Game Jerusalem and Rat House
After Fort Aqua, LordGalvatronMC and Crawket were invited to Block Game Jerusalem by Joey_Coconut, where he built a notable section of the base including a pyramid. He was also one of the 104 members of the Rat House, the largest spawn base in server history by player count, which ran from late 2020 until its grief in October 2021. He was a member of Chunk Haven and Fort Joe during the same general period.
Astral Brotherhood
On August 22, 2021, LordGalvatronMC and Joey_Coconut founded the Astral Brotherhood as a revival of the Astral Order. Builders were recruited from a wide range of former groups, including the Shortbus Caliphate, Guardsmen, and Builders Haven: Remastered. LordGalvatronMC sat on the Astral Council for the entirety of the group's documented history and was a founding member of most of its major bases.
New Lugdunum, which he founded on March 20, 2022, was leaked by Steampunkjax and griefed by the Backstreet Boys on May 18, 2022. Lidenbrock followed in May 2022 and was griefed by Zetrax and maksitaxi on June 25th, the grief had not been planned for that day, so the griefers showed up without TNT, and the base members ended up donating their own to finish the job. Dubrovnik, founded in August 2022, lasted nearly eight months before being self-griefed in April 2023 after Snippykeegan_ tried to sell the coordinates. New Menegroth was the last major base, founded in April 2023 and self-griefed in June of the same year after a base hunter named TockTick shared images of it with several players.
Clout Club griefs
On June 16, 2022, LordGalvatronMC took part in the grief of the Clout Club base alongside CirocDrip, bread_loafs, and smcz19, acting under the Shortbus Caliphate banner as part of an ongoing conflict between Fifth Column and Astral Brotherhood members. He was also part of the grief of Cloutlantis on July 21, 2022, alongside bread_loafs, smcz19, and Joey_Coconut.
Five Isles and Endhaven
LordGalvatronMC joined Five Isles, a multi-island million-base founded by Krobar01, in mid 2022 and built his own section there. The base was self-griefed in December 2022 after the stash was stolen. He was also one of the early members of Endhaven, a long-term End dimension base founded by Joey_Coconut and Krobar01 in 2022, and built there through to its self-grief in November 2024.
