Don Sakura is an all-rank spawn base built by Donfuer.
History
Foundation
Leadership started to plan the all-rank base in April, following the seasonal sakura (cherry trees) theme, team had decided the base should be located in cherry biome. Sanuty scouted the location, then Glubtubbis arrived and set up the pearl room and sign board. Glub then proceeded to pave the path and designed several builds in base, included one ice road circled the base for boat racing.
Base members set up a poll to decide base name, Don Sakura won the poll.
Construction
The base was free theme, but mostly medieval style around signboard area. There's also Asian theme builds by phosph0lipid and RAMun8, and Futuristic zone by FIRECATinBLACK and Javikia.
Trivia
Originally base was located at -280000, 185000; but at least two players found the base and griefed the builds, leadership then decided to move the location.
To increase excitement for the boat racing contest, members also added obstacles and difficult terrains around the ice road, included lava wall, cactus and redstone traps. The ice boat contest's best record is around 1 min 9 secs.
Several members were promoted to Knight rank in this base, leadership team built memorial build / map arts for new Knights and hold a small ceremony in game.
There was a wedding avenue in base.
Grief
RohanPathak01 was removed from the group due to rule violations, the player then leaked the base coords to Fith Column.
