- This template is used to mark pages as being protected, along with their type of protection.
- Syntax
- Type
{{protected}}at the top of an article. Optionally, an unnamed parameter can be used to indicate how long the article is protected for:{{protected}}, for instance, if the article is indefinitely protected, or{{protected}}, with the date the protection expires as date, to indicate a temporary protection. - Sample output
{{protected}}places one of the below icons in the top-right of the article this template is used on.
