May 8 – test.2b2t.org enters the fourth part of the ongoing update testing with full original world, with improvements and optimization to both servers' performance and chunk upgrade system.
May 18 – The Backstreet Boys grief New Lugdunum.
May 24 – The main server goes down for about 3 hours to implement a new queue system that allows players to join 2b2t using 1.18 clients while the server remains on 1.12.2.
June 24th - The Fifth Column griefs Skylight Haven
July 2 – The Valley Of Wheat is fully restored by The Luminous Sandclave, but it's griefed the same day.
June 23 - 2b2t's tab list updates and announces the upcoming update to 1.21 as well as potential server location changes.
July 4 - Donfuer 28 is self-griefed by its builders after the base is leaked to Outlast.

October 1 - A massive leak of discord chat logs and base coordinates belonging to Donfuer are released by a1fastyellowgto, a former 'Elder' in Donfuer, in an effort to destroy the group and remove their presence from the server. All bases that were leaked were griefed by The Fifth Column. Several high-ranking members of the group are removed due to this. The event is dubbed "Connect 5 - Donfall" by those involved.

November 29 - VEA Main base ChromaTown is griefed by The Enclave after ongoing conflict for 7 months within the 2 groups
December 4 - LootLords End World Border Base is griefed by Emperium after CaptainDoinEr leaks and griefs the United Builders Republic Community Christmas Base.
January 12 - The 2024 census conducted by the 2b2t Census Bureau has been completed, the results will be published soon.
January 14 - BarrenDome officially returns to 2b2t, posting his first video on the server in 3 years.
January 16 - doctrzombie officially returned to 2b2t via streaming after 4 years of inactivity. Tangoooooooo enacts Operation SS (Secret Service) coordinating with members of the community to protect him while streaming.
