Inclusion of Anti-Watercube Coalition
- "The II is an incursion, its literally in the name and still is an incursion."
The Infinity Incursion Spawn projects are not individual incursions, regardless of how similar to traditional incursions they may be. The events of the Anti-Watercube Coalition may be similar to an Anti-Incursion in that it is an organized opposition to some sort of large undertaking; however that does not make it an Anti-Incursion. The content has been moved to Small groups#Anti-Watercube Coalition; feel free to write about any notable events on the main Infinity Incursion article as well.
If enough largescale opposition (on a single occasion or multiple occasions) to a Spawn project occurs and are regarded by the community as Anti-Incursions, to the point where the definition of an Incursion/Anti-Incursion is altered, then it can have a section. However general consensus is that this project is not an Anti-Incursion. @Joey Coconut1: @LordGalvatron1: @JewishPlayer: Feel free to discuss below to avoid edit warring. — Melofors TC 17:16, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- Melo is absolutely correct.
- The group II no longer even refers to itself as 'Infinity Incursion'. The organization changed its name to 'Infinity Incorporated' some time ago. As the group is not an incursion (and even dropped its claims of being one), there is no basis for the anti watercube coalition to be referred to as an Anti-Incursion.

- My group should stay, and this is blatant censorship.
- The Infinity Incursion is refered to and treated as an Incursion by the entire community, because just like the ones that came before it, it is a large community event. This is just blatant censorship, Joey making excuses to censor me because he has something against me, which a lot of people do. The Anti-Incursion was a successful group and even if you don't put it on this page it at least deserves its on page and shouldn't be on Small Groups because at its height, it had around 30 people working for it which is more then the small group requirement of 25.

- Let's define "incursion" shall we? According to the Merriam Webster dictionary and incursion is: a hostile entrance into a territory. Now that we have defined that, let's move on. The Infinity Incursion, as it is known by most of the 2b2t community, started a project to turn all of spawn into a giant watercube. To do this, they had to prepare spawn, and destroy all opposition, or in other words; they invaded spawn in a hostile way to achieve their goals.
- The Anti-Watercube Coalition was the organized opposition to this project. They were the anti-incursion. Only moments after its creation was it advertised to all the leaders' different groups, and a wave of all kinds of players joined in. Some supported the watercube, of course, but the majority were against it. Together, they tried many different things to stop the Infinity Incursion and their watercube expansion project. In the end, they succeeded and stopped the watercube from being made.
- Now, my question to you Joey is; how could the Anti-Watercube Coalition possibly not be an anti-incursion? and I would also ask you how this group could possibly be a small group as well? Like what commie said, "it had around 30 people working for it which is more then the small group requirement of 25."
- The Anti-Watercube Coalition should stay.

- @JewishPlayer: @Wallace1020: The wiki is neutral; we have no intention or reason to censor, just to record events. We moved the content, not deleted, and I also mentioned it’s appropriate for the main II article.
- In response to Wallace: We are not going by the English definition of the word, we are going by the 2b2t definition. In other words, what is an incursion on 2b2t; of course that is the core of why this is so controversial: there could be disagreements on that definition. Generally an incursion is when much of the server playerbase comes together to drive out invading players and usually accomplish a large goal.
- So what this discussion boils down to is: are the Infinity Incursion Spawn projects incursions in the eyes of the general public? No they’re not. They are simply viewed as Spawn projects. There was no agreement of it being an incursion among the server. It is worth noting that the Infinity Incursion was created to preserve the aspect of incursions in which players come together to achieve a goal; that does not make their projects incursions.
- What I will say is that, due to the similarity of Infinity Incursion projects to real Incursions, the opposition to these events is still rather noteworthy to include here. However a section under the heading “Third Anti-Incursion” is extremely misleading. I would suggest a name such as “2021 Infinity Incursion opposition” which will talk about the AWC and how their centralized opposition is similar to that of previous Anti-Incursions, though differs in that it is against a Spawn project. — Melofors TC 12:55, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Melofors: Should this “2021 Infinity Incursion opposition” be put on this page or the Infinity Incursion page? As said before I don't think it should be on The Small Groups Page
- -jewishplayer
- @JewishPlayer: on the ii page, and can u send us ur discord as well ---Rpb7191 (talk)
- @JewishPlayer: @Rpb7191: What I was saying was, if it is to be mentioned on this page, then it should be mentioned in the context that the event was similar in nature to Anti-Incursions in that it is the centralized opposition to a Spawn project, though it is not an Anti-Incursion. That mention can be in the form of a section (eg: “2021 Infinity Incursion opposition”) or a sentence in the lead.
- As for outside of this article, the main article for AWC is at the Small groups page. It was a temporary project and was not relevant/large enough for a standalone article. Other temporary groups such as the Anti Bedrock Society are at Small groups due to this. In fact I just removed Team WAO and moved it there due to how there was little to write about the group. This is a similar case.
- Additionally a sentence or two may be added to the Infinity Incursion article about AWC. — Melofors TC 16:48, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
