Quarantine:Schematica

Schematica is an open-source Minecraft mod created by Jadran Kotnik (known as Lunatrius). The mod supports Minecraft versions from 1.7.10 to 1.12.2. Due to 2b2t being upgraded to 1.19.x on 26 August, 2023, this mod is no longer in use on the server. Prior to this update, Schematica was a widely-used and widely-forked mod by the 2b2t community-at-large.

Notable uses

Schematica was used heavily by the IIS while repairing the Nether Highways from mid-2019 until November 2020.
DocSmurf used Schematica during the creation of Niflheim to construct a giant Ice Dragon sculpture
Castle Hatehart was partially reconstructed in 2020 by Fredmodulars using Schematica

Features

The mod allows users to load a schematic file which would display a translucent, holographic representation of the build contained within the file inside of the players current world at specified coordinates. The player could then "trace" over the top of the holograph placing all of the correct blocks. This allowed players to easily recreate and duplicate builds and sped up the placing of blocks significantly during repetitive builds.
