Quarantine:Nihongun

The Nihongun is a Japanese group lead by cityboss1 and founded in January of 2021. The Nihongun has made many Japanese themed bases and projects and contributed in some conflicts. The goal of the Nihongun was to support new Japanese players and Japanese youtubers survive on 2b2t and spread 2b2t culture and Japanese culture via projects.

History

Early Beginnings

When a large influx of Japanese players joined 2b2t after getting popular in Japan, City wanted to help them because he was a fan of Japanese culture. City changed one of his alt accounts to Pekora_Usada, referencing the famous Japanese Vtuber Usada Pekora in hopes of the Japanese players reaching out to him. One player UsadaJunichi was a big fan of Usada Pekora and so was City and the two quickly became good friends. They went around helping more new Japanese players and inviting them to a spawnbase City and UsadaJunichi had made. When enough people joined the base they decided to start a group and called it the 日本軍 (Nihongun/Japanese Army). The group will go on to recruit more players at Oniyajima which was a base founded by Nihongun that was built around a Japanese youtuber Oniya228s logout spot when he called for help on a stranded island.

7/11 Spawn Base

In Japan 7/11 convenience stores are popular so a Joke was made to start a spawnbase at 7000 11000 to recruit new Japanese players and test them. The base had a huge underground and many builds there and also on the surface. Many structures referencing Japanese culture was built at the base such as Godzilla (Famous Japanese Kaiju), Evangelion unit 1 ( From Neon Genesis Evangelion), Sakura Miko and Usada Pekora Statues( 2 Famous Japanese Vtubers), 7/11 Convenience store, Cat Bus ( From Ghibli film Totoro), and more. The base will survive for over a week and a half and go through multiple small grief attempts but the base was a success and a party event was held there to celebrate the new members as well as welcome Japanese youtubers to tour the base. The base will eventually be griefed by the Taiwanese players as they were jealous of the Nihonguns achievements as they have done more on the server than the Taiwanese players despite the Taiwanese players playing much longer than the New Japanese players.

Obsidian Sky Pekora

After the success of the 7/11 Base the Nihongun planned a large scale spawn project to build a Giant portrait of the Vtuber Usada Pekora on the south east quadrant of spawn. Construction began on February 18th and would require 2.1million blocks of obsidian. A giant battleship made out of obsidian called the Yamatosen( famous battleship that served Japan in WW2) was constructed as a base of operations for the Obsidian Sky Pekora. The project was coming along but on Feb 27, FitMC posted the video about the Watchmens OWO project, which lead to many random players flying around spawn looking for it and which they would stumble across the Pekora project during its construction, some players were friendly but some attempted to grief. Apon hearing there was some kind of large obsidian construction going on the south east quadrant, player Sicko6(woof), who was kicked from the Nihongun for being incompetent during the 7/11 spawnbase project wanted revenge on the Nihongun and traveled to the project location to attempt to grief it. Since he was kicked before what the Nihongun planned to build he believed the Obsidian Yamatosen was what the Nihongun was working on and started griefing it for the next few days. Since Woof believed that the ship was the project the Nihongun was working on and it acted as a decoy while members of the Nihongun continued on the Obsidian Pekora. After woof realized that he was griefing the wrong build, the Obsidian Pekora was already 90% completed and realizing he was too late to grief something too big, he attempted to stop the production of obsidian instead. By using an alt to inside the Nihongun discord, woof tracked down the obsidian factories and killed SHO_JPN while he was AFK mining enderchests. Woof stole 10 shulkers of Enderchests but was later killed by SHO_JPN and got 9 out of the 10 shulkers back. SHO_JPN will continue the project and be responsible for placing over 500,000 obsidian on his own.

Nihongun member shinto2017, who woof thought was working with him to inside the Nihongun but was actually working for the Nihongun to spy on woof, revealed that woof was insiding the group using an alt called 9676. Instead of kicking the alt City had a better plan to make him fall for the bedtrap so that woof will be shamed and also waste of the priority queue he had bought for his alt to spy on the group. After 2 weeks after the start of the project, the Obsidian Sky Pekora was completed. To celebrate the completion a party was held inviting many Japanese youtubers to tour the build. There Woof will be tricked into sleeping in a bed and get bedtrapped by the Nihongun. In rage woof attempted to steal and claim credit on twitter and reddit saying that he built the Obsidian Sky Pekora on his own. He was shut down by people telling the truth and FitMCs video on the topic. Woof would later quit 2b2t after being shamed by everyone. After FitMC made a video, the real Usada Pekora would react to the build and compliment the builders and show interest in 2b2t.

Oniya Jail Island

Japanese youtuber oniya228, the most viewed and subscribed Japanese 2b2t youtuber was telling false history and information about 2b2t. He was making up stories and history through his channel for views and money and because no one in the 2b2t community knew about oniya228 and his lies so it was up to City and the Nihongun to expose him and stop him from lying to his own viewers and disrespecting the 2b2t community. Oniya would make up drama surrounding himself that the Infinity Incursion was after him and hunting him, trying to dox and hack his computer, making up many lies in order to make his own videos interesting so his childish viewers can enjoy. He would also change the story about 0channys Autumn Drain, saying that the original Drain made by Offtopia and willyroof was never griefed and lasted until 2020 and that Jacktherippa help advance the base and calling it the Drain2, when in reality the Drain was griefed by the 4th reich in 2016 and 0channy was the one who started the Drain rebuild project leading to the creation of the Autumn Drain. Oniya228 would lie and make drama surrounding himself even more and ruining the truth for the Japanese 2b2t viewers. City and the Nihongun took action and planned to bedtrap oniya228. Thanks to oniya228s "friend" Vtchi, oniya was tricked into thinking he was going to raid a base with vtchi but was being lured to get bedtrapped. On the plan execution day vtchi couldnt show up to lure oniya228, so City had to barrow an account from Nihongun member tukigokami to change the IGN to Vtchi2b2t to continue the plan to trick oniya228. The plan worked and oniya228 slept in the bed and which he was killed and bedtrapped. After he was bedtrapped the Nihongun created a massive cube filled with obsidian to cover the bedtrap as well as enter 12 Elder Guardians inside the cube so if he calls for help to his viewers no one can easily help him.

The bedtrap would be named Oniya Jail Island and it would be the biggest bedtrap in the servers history. In rage oniya228 posted a video and lies saying that his account was HACKED by antis and bedtrapped but brags by saying that he can just play on an alt account and he would leak coords to Oniya Jail Island so that his fans would go save him. Many of his fans showed up but they were no match for Nihonguns defenses. Although through oniya fans hard efforts and broke the bed multiple times using phase and killing the some of the Elder guardians, their efforts were futile since the bed could easily be placed back and there were over 50 reserve Elder Guardians ready to be replaced any time. After telling Saba10200 ( a different Japanese 2b2t Youtuber with over 85k Subscribers) about the lies oniya228 tells about 2b2t to the Japanese viewers, Saba would expose oniya228 about the lies and bachibachbach and the infinity incursion would make fun of oniya228 for wanting attention from them. Oniya228 would not reply to any of this since his massive ego would not accept anything bad about himself, but instead sent kids that were angry that their beloved Youtuber got exposed and bedtrapped, to attack Saba and Nihongun in Youtube comments. After this incident Oniya228 would stop posting 2b2t History videos and stop larping about drama surrounding himself and slowly stop uploading 2b2t videos.

Nihongun Summer Festival

During Summer In Japan there are many different traditional summer festivals in real life. But due to Covid-19 all summer festivals are canceled. So the Nihongun had an idea to make their own 2b2t Japanese Summer Festival event base and Invited saba and other Japanese players as well as 0channy who was proud about the Nihongun defending the history of the Autumn Drain.

After the completion of the Obsidian Sky Pekora, Beast_Machine the leader of the Watchmen was angry that the Nihongun had made a bigger structure than theirs. He would make fun of the Nihongun and say racist things which would lead to the Nihongun joining the Air Destroyers ( anti watchmen allience group) to help destroy the watchmens obsidian Rick Ashley project.
