History
The Dark Mirror started as a project to pass the time waiting to start another main base after The Blue Castle. The original idea for a mirrored build had been planned out for a year until finally acting upon it.
Location
The location of the base was chosen to be Kallie's Gape after realizing normal man-made craters would be too small. The location was chosen because it was the World Edited hole that ITristan made near Imp's Base 2.
Construction
Construction for the base started March 31, 2023 and would end on April 30, 2023. During this time the builders (mostly dominated by Darkomier) would build and complete the project and to end the project, the build would be shown in a tour video.
After the original build was completed the builders had plans of doing floor art and other floating builds however, they ultimately decided to leave it as is due fears of making unfinished projects.
After the base's original construction, the base sat dormant until finally being griefed in August 2023 by the Teutonic Order.
