FIRECATinBLACK is a builder/technical player and leader of Cult of the Cat.

Joining 2b2t

FIRECATinBLACK originally joined 2b2t in 2020, but after spawning in a lavacast, they quickly lost interest. After this on April 29th 2023 after watching youtubers such as Fit and SalC1 they decided to rejoin the server to pass time with the goal to be a highway or a canal worker. They thought those groups wouldn't take them as a completely new player in so they decided to start a vanilla base and baritone mine materials for gear. Shortly after this, they would join The WaterWay Union after DinoFan420 told FIRECATinBLACK to DM Godroster. After which he welcomed Firecat and told them how they could help the group.

Groups

WaterWay Union

On May 16th, 2023 Firecat was invited to the Water Way Union. The group had just started the project of upgrading the Southern Canal to the new 2 chunk width with defenses from 500k moving to spawn, as well as depaving the griefs done by the SHA. After they were encouraged by Godroster to initially come help on the canal they spent whole night until late morning hours travelling on horseback from spawn along the southern axis, encountering some canal griefers along the way. They arrived at the end of the unupgraded canal and met Godroster, who then showed Firecat the new design of the canal and the current end of the SHA's grief in the same spot, starting to depave and dig out space for the canal on the sides. The next day they met ThebesAndSound on the canal who was using automation to help depave the griefs. ThebesAndSound told Firecat, that they could help by digging out the terrain to the new 2 chunk width around him, and soon they would meet nearly the whole canal crew helping to dig alongside them. They were later that day invited to join their group, the WaterWay Union, and given access to their automation. FIRECATinBLACK remains the only recruit post Southern Canal Association to make it into the group this quickly.

Donfuer

In a WaterWay Union public VC, Darkomier encouraged Firecat to apply to DonFuer. Firecat applied and was accepted into Donfuer on July 17th 2023. They were not an active builder but enjoyed the socialization in the group. After a while, they ranked up to Men at Arms where they were invited to the main Donfuer base at the time, Donfuer 28 through proxy access. After 28 was griefed, they would go on and establish HellFuer, a nether base, which was leaked and griefed due to the Connect 5: Donfall leaks. In April, 2025, Firecat was promoted to Viceroy in DonFuer.

Geezers

Firecat was invited to GrayBeard Geezers on September 26th 2023, where they built at the geezer towns and were quickly promoted to Elder rank. They were given access to every base and were able to start their own member only base. They started Oceanix City, which was leaked and griefed by Outlast during the Geezer Town 8 drama. After this, Firecat left the GrayBeard Geezers due to internal drama, but they continue to stay on neutral terms with them.

Spectrum Builders

After meeting Zock at the Rat Race Event, Zock slowly introduced Firecat to the other members of the Spectrum Builders until, when he was screensharing, he accidentally leaked their main base and stash to them. Following this the other members of the group voted 100% to invite them in to the Spectrum builders and their base at the time, Donkey Town.

SBA

Firecat was invited to Spawn Builders Association by hardboiledmegs after reconciling with her following their departure from Graybeard Geezers. Within the group they occasionally build at bases and help set up events. At the 2024 SBA Awards, Firecat was nominated for, and won, Best New Join. On March 8 2025, Firecat was promoted to Trusted role with a unanimous vote in favor.

The Collective

During their time in the Graybeard Geezers, they met Toska who invited them to The Collective. They namely helped with the technical issues in Collective Sky including planning logistics for materials and planning code, along with donating 12 of their accounts to be used by the pavers.
