Dekto is a Hispanic player known for his twitch streams, PvP, building, and participating in events across the server. He has built at prolific bases such as Sky Masons and Dubrovnik.

History

Early Beginning

Dekto was introduced to the server by Spanish YouTuber, ElRichMC, in his video "El servidor más violento y antiguo de Minecraft."

Having played Minecraft years ago, he decided to explore the server in late 2019 and enjoyed the server's challenging and anarchic atmosphere. While starting out on the server, he played without prio queue, and in vanilla. On his way to escape spawn, he met another Hispanic player, 420X69, who invited him to join Team Dorito. In this group he met 0mateciotti, who taught him how to stash hunt and gave him his first stash. However, his time in the group was short lived, as the group soon went inactive.

On a visit to spawn, Dekto found and solved a coordinate puzzle left by the player Negative_Entropy. The coordinates revealed led to SpawnTrain, where he met many players and stayed active without issue, until Jared2013 appeared, and built a "Caboose" at the end of the train, threatening the inhabitants of the base that if someone built behind him he would return and grief it. The group made the decision to self grief the base. After this, Dekto participated with Negative_Entropy in many spawn bases, such as The Horse spawn stash and The Diamondtown Rebuild, and soon after was invited to join the SpawnMasons.

Throughout his time building with the various players and groups, he continued to build variants of a statue of a horse; which was an homage to when he played hardcore factions, where he used horses as his main source of movement, since he didn't use hack clients.

Dekto continued to dedicate himself to hunting bases and stashes, which prompted him to start using hack clients.

Building & Hunting

Without a base, Dekto invited 0mateciotti to build a spawn base 50k away from the spawn called "La Spawnbase". This base was found by a Spawn Builders Association player, Burgermane and since 0mateciotti was also a member of SBA, they decided to invite Dekto to join the group. Dekto used the Lambda radar and, with a good configuration, he started recording videos and streaming 2b2t as he did before with other games, making 2b2t his main content. With his content pushing him to consistently basehunt, Dekto began finding small stashes and bases with valuable items, which he sold and used to buy priority queue for his accounts.

On a particular instance while basehunting, he ended up arriving at Mu Megabase while it was under reconstruction. He met people and learned the history of this base, assisting with its reconstruction and leaving the base intact and submerged underwater.

Through his previous connections with players, he was able to meet Harrisson, another member of the Spawn Builders Association. Harrison taught him how to use a teleport exploit with involving boats and end-gateways, which allowed him to travel to the world border. There, Armorsmith had a small base comprised of several buildings. Armorsmith gave Dekto a mission to reach his museum, which was a few million blocks away on the corner Dekto had teleported to. Unbeknownst to him, he was racing a fellow YouTuber named DeniskaFilin, with Dekto winning the race and being the first to visit the Armorsmith art museum.

During this period of time, Dekto would go on to join both the Highway Workers Union and Astral Brotherhood. He went on to found Solaris alongside Hurtlockerbeck, bringing two double chests of kits and materials to the base.

In July 2022, after participating in Cornerbase, Dekto was officially invited to build at SkyMasons. Due to the base theme, Dekto wanted to learn how to build an island, so he made one on Cornerbase and then, with the help of Negative_Entropy and tutorials, built his own island at SkyMason. That same month, Dekto helped BryceDey with his spawn walls elytra gap project, removing over 400,000 obsidian blocks.

Eventually as a result of his efforts and impacts on the server, he was invited by rrdrock to the The Derp Kingdom and the Clubhouse bases. It was here he would continue to foster relationships with members of the Spawn Builders Association. He would also go on to spend some time at the Astral Brotherhood base, Dubrovnik, which led to his promotion within the group.

During October 2022, Sky Masons got griefed, Dekto witnessing the fall of the base would make the decision to self grief his own island. Shortly after he participated in Spawn Migration.

Spawnmasons & Big Finds

After the fall of Sky Masons, Dekto became fed up with the cycle of building and griefing he was finding himself in, so Dekto stopped building as much with Astral Brotherhhod and moved on to a different project, creating his own shop with 0Mateciotti. His stint as a shop owner was short and Dekto retired the shop soon after opening it.

After taking a small break, Dekto continued participating in Spawn Builder Alliance bases and projects, and stash hunting.

Shortly after whilst following an extremely long chunk trail, Dekto found the player King_Aurelius, the leader of a group known as The Last Templar, building at a base. The base had a stash of approximately 500 dubs. One of the members at this stash was Joey_Coconut, a longtime associate of Dekto. As a result of this connection, a short conflict resolution took place which resulted in Dekto only taking some rockets and some valuable kits at that time in exchange for the base's inhabitants to build a Dekto statue.

Through his connection with the Spawn Masons, Dekto was invited by Negative_Entropy to participate in a project he was working on called "Rechecking Nocom Coords". This led Dekto to visit several old locations from the Nocom database in search of items. In one of these locations, he found a map of Cabra next to a large stash containing illegal items. Shortly after, Dekto went back to hunting normally, finding a stash of 200 dubs from the player Drthickfinger. Motivated by this find, Dekto began to stream more hunts, finding some bases and stashes, until 2 months later he found the largest stash he has found to date - a stash from the group Freedom, made by Its_Tims and Hammernaut. After having found this stash, he created his trading post called "Dekto Trading outpost". He would then become a full-fledged member of the Spawn Masons in June of 2023.

Projects

Between June and August of 2023, Dekto participated in a variety of projects, including "The Grid" with players like RulesOff. In August of 2023, The server updated to 1.19, causing many players to quit due to the item economy resetting. While that was happening, Dekto along with some of his other friends like immeeerkat, hardboiledmegs, wetbones_ and cpybara survived the reset and the reversion by building large item farms.

Following that, Dekto assisted the SpawnMasons with a coordinate exploit, Randar. He started visiting places with the help of the newly developed Nether Path Finder by BabbaJ and elytra bounce. Shortly after this, Dekto helped members of the SpawnMasons in preparations to steal one of the largest stashes from the largest shop on the server.

Current Projects

Today, Dekto remains an active member of SpawnMasons and SBA, while also stash hunting, streaming, and PvPing at 2b2t spawn, participating in projects, and bases.
