History
Early History
Yamez8 is a Twitch streamer and base hunter, most know for hunting far regions. He first joined the server on April 12th, 2022 after seeing Fit videos come across his suggestions on Facebook.
The first group he joined was DonFuer, originally intending to be a stash finder for them but that never panned out. He built at a few SpawnFuers and helped provide some materials. Following the Bing Bong Connect 4 grief by DonFuer leaders, Yamez8 was kicked from DonFuer for challenging leadership on the grief and sharing screenshots of DonFuer excuses for the grief.
In September 2022, he found a Nekramite stash a week after Smil of the Spectrum Builders had found it, but before things were moved. They agreed to cut him in and that lead to his first major stash find, including illegals.[1]
Conspiracy Group Inc.
In early 2023, Yamez8 went on to found his own hunting group, Conspiracy Group Inc (CGI). Their philosophy is that there are lots of cool things unfound on the server, and they will be the ones to find them. The name came from a former Anarchy Online MMORPG guild. The group is mostly about sharing pictures of cool finds and helping each other with hunting tips and hunting configurations.
CGI went on to host a 420 event on April 20th 2024 with a build location featuring games, fast food builds, a dispensary, and a map art wall for trading. The event was a success with multiple players coming by and not being griefed during the event itself.
Spawn Builders Association
In November 2022, he was accepted in to SBA and has built at quite a few SBA bases, which lead him to being promoted to Trusted in August 2023[2]. He continued to build with SBA, along with helping host a Nuketown Hide n Seek event with BryceDey in 2024, which was also used by VEA later on, and eventually griefed by Emperium when it was going to be used as a backup location for the 2024 fall Hunger Games after the original location was griefed.
Stash Hunting & Twitch
Soon after the 1.19 update, some executives from CGI reopened a gateway portal from End spawn to the world border. This led Yamez8 to hunt more in the End. In September 2024, when following a lead about a possible BarrenDome base untouched in the End, he found Infinius' stash that featured items taken from BarrenDome's Void Caverns and from Brownmen's Cobtopia base, among others. The stash had roughly 900 dubs of items and roughly 80+ dispensers of illegals.[3]
Yamez8 often likes to give back to the community as well, often helping with materials at bases or giving new players gear at spawn, which is also a way to advertise his Twitch stream.
