0Neb is a prolific chatter on 2b2t and highway digger who joined in August 2019. He is best known for his long-running campaign to expose Nocomd Nerds Inc, his dig of the X+ Nether highway toward the world border, his co-leadership role in the New Facepunch Republic, and for research into the history of the 2b2t Steam Group. He was voted Biggest Shitposter at the 2b2t Oscars in 2022.
History
New Facepunch Republic
0Neb, then known as 0Nebulast122201, became a co-leader of the New Facepunch Republic alongside Chezhead, Armorsmith, and OMEGAO000. He designed the group's Discord server and handled much of its early recruitment. However, his close association with Armorsmith raised suspicions within the group, and after Sato86 revealed to chezhead that Armorsmith had been using chezhead as a vehicle to attract players into his orbit, both 0Neb and Armorsmith were removed from the group. Despite his departure, OMEGAO000 retained his leadership rank and continued leading the NFPR for years afterward.
Nocom campaign
Throughout late 2020 and into 2021, 0Neb ran a sustained public campaign in global chat attempting to raise suspicion about Nerds Inc and the existence of a coordinate exploit, which he suspected gave them a backdoor into player activity across the server. Chat logs from December 2020 through August 2021 show him repeatedly posting variations of "NERDS INC HAVE A BACKDOOR" and naming 0x22, Babbaj, and leijurv as the players behind it, long before Nocom was publicly confirmed. He also accused Impact, the popular client with leijurv as lead developer, of being compromised. At the time his warnings were largely dismissed or ridiculed in chat. When Nerds Inc published their write-up of Nocom in July 2021 and the exploit was confirmed, 0Neb's suspicions were vindicated.
Adolf Hitller's Private Army
0Neb was a member of Adolf Hitller's Private Army, a small meme group formed by Adolf_Hitller. Alongside Adolf and Mad_King_Lambo, 0Neb participated in the group's various projects including their attempt to dig the X+ highway to the Nether world border.
Beginning in late 2020, 0Neb undertook a solo dig of the X+ Nether highway toward the Nether world border at 30 million blocks. He posted milestone updates to the 2b2t subreddit as he progressed, announcing reaching 5 million Nether in April 2021 and 7 million Nether shortly after. Mad_King_Lambo and Adolf_Hitller, both members of the Adolf Hitller's Private Army group, were companions during parts of the journey. The dig ultimately concluded before the world border was reached, with 0Neb noting that the X+ Nether Border Diggers group had beaten him to the border.
Wedding event and Sky Masons
0Neb destroyed the first site of the 2022 Wedding Event before the ceremony could take place there, prompting the organizers to move to a second location and rebuild. During the Skyfall grief of Sky Masons in October 2022, while the Fifth Column was destroying the base on the main server, 0Neb griefed the entire base on the newly opened test server, a process that took over 30 hours.
2b2t Steam Group research
In November 2022, 0Neb published a Reddit post bringing the history of the 2b2t Steam Group to public attention, having researched archived versions of the group's page. Through this research he identified the Steam account of Hausemaster, which was privated, and documented the group's history from its 2008 origins through to its removal in 2019. Chat logs from February 2023 show him continuing to discuss this research, referencing georgebush420, the SpawnMasons, and Nerds Inc in the context of admin access to the server.
