The Penny Dropper is a gold farm at spawn, that was constructed in 2015. It is currently buried under lavacasts, yet typically kept operational by people around spawn that keep using it to gain xp.
The Penny Dropper was founded by taylo112, Anhora, and jared2013 during the Third Incursion. It served as a base to repair armor during the attacks on Wrath Outpost. This base consisted of a big gold farm and other underground farms. It was later griefed by jared2013 himself, as he believed such a gold farm at spawn is too beneficial for new players. Since, the Penny Dropper has experienced continuous waves of griefing and repairing, causing lots of extra rooms, farms, and ruins to appear through the years.
